STUDY FOR SPM

     Menurutnya, Sejarah merupakan subjek wajib lulus SPM pada tahun 2013. Maknanya kalau sejarah tak lulus, maka gagallah SPM. "Tetapi, ramai pelajar yang tidak menggemari subjek sejarah. Betul tak? Cikgu pun dulu masa SRP paling tak suka Sejarah tapi bila naik sahaja Tingkatan Empat dan ambik STPM, subjek sejarah ialah antara subjek yang cikgu paling minat," katanya menerusi posting di laman facebook Abdul Ghani, baru-baru ini.      Beliau berkata, Sejarah SPM mempunyai Kertas 2 iaitu yang mengandungi soalan struktur dan juga soalan esei. Kelebihan soalan struktur dan esei ni ialah kita boleh menulis ikut pengetahuan sejarah kita...untung bagi yang minat membaca. Ingat, Kertas 2 jangan hantar kertas 0...bagi calon lemah kuasai beberapa topik khususnya tema 12 (satu soalan wajib) + tema 9 (sekurang-kurangnya satu soalan di situ).      Jika Kertas 1 yang menggunakan soalan objektif, ia agak susah kerana jika kita salah pilih, maka salahlah soalan itu. Section C:  SUMMARY Summary Writing Skills The summary question is asked as  Question 31 in Section C Paper 2.  It carries a total of  15 marks. The question requires you to extract important points from the passage.  Using the points you have extracted, you have to write a summary of not more than  130 words.  Marks are allocated for content and grammar. Exam Hints Content You have to extract  at least 10 points  from the passage.  For every point in your summary, you are awarded one mark. Style and Presentation It is important to use the correct style and presentation in your summary.  This means you must show the ability to paraphrase the points by using  your own words.  You should not copy sentences from the passage. Express the 10 points or more you have extracted using own words that include correct grammar, punctuation, sentence variety  and suitable linking words.
